Family: Anita is the oldest daughter of Marion and Alfred Moore. Her younger sister, Amy, is twenty years old, having graduated from Hogwarts, where she was in Ravenclaw house. Anita, Amy and their parents  lived on a small property in Bristol which had been in the family for generations. Amy was born many years after Anita, and as such the elder sibling is extremely protective of the younger.

History:
Anita Rose Moore is the oldest child of Alfred Moore and his wife Marion. She was born in a hospital in London, and taken home to the family home in Bristol, England. She grew up in a normal family, and attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where she was sorted into Gryffindor house. She enjoyed school immensely, and studied hard to achieve her goals of high NEWTs and a good repertoire for when she began a career search.

After graduating, Anita spend five years travelling, where she simultaneously enjoyed new experiences and studied Potions in various countries and under many potioneers. It wasn’t until she returned to her home country that the idea of becoming a teacher appeared in her head, and she applied at Hogwarts to teach Potions.

After teaching Potions to the first through seventh years at Hogwarts for twelve years, Anita has now taken on the position of Headmistress and hopes to successfully run the school with the help of a good staff team, which currently under construction.

Personality: Anita is a sweet, caring and giving woman. She is warm and welcoming to everybody that she meets. She does have a temper, and it can explode if somebody presses the wrong buttons too many times. She is intelligent, though find that her compassion gets the better of her. She can be cold and distant, but usually keeps a smile on her face anyway.

Character Likes: Reading, training/exercise, the outdoors, the rain and the sun, swimming, exotic food, and chocolate.
Character dislikes: Laziness, white chocolate, unnecessary rudeness, dark witches/wizards, false people, and uncleanliness.
Character Strengths: Intelligent, quick thinking, Defence Against the Dark Arts, opinionated, organisation, and physical fitness.

First Day as Potions Professor, September 2nd, 2002

Anita lingered for a moment in the dungeon corridor before she opened the classroom door. It had been five years since she had been in that particular room, but it felt like it was mere days ago. It had been the classroom that she had always been the most excited to enter, looking forward to learning something different or new. Perhaps that was how she left this time around as well, but instead of being seated at one of the work benches that were situated around the room, she would be in front of the black board instructing the class. The thought both worried and thrilled her, but for now she would simply settle for rearranging the room and preparing for her first group of students to arrive.
