The bell to The Three Broomsticks announced Colin's entrance. Giving a wave to the barkeep, he made his way to his usual table. Taking seat, Colin rested a rather large manila folder on the table just as one of the usual waitresses came to take his order. "Your usual, Master O'Connor?" she asked with a smile. "No' today, Misty," he said looking up at her, "How 'bout an apple cinnamon cider?" The waitress looked a little puzzled, but when she caught sight of the folder, she understood his request. "Need a little something warm to help you work?" she asked politely. "In a sense," he replied with a nervous smile. Misty put an encouraging hand on his shoulder and offered, "You are skilled in your work, Sir. I'll get that drink coming whippity quick." As she turned to leave, Colin called to her, "Oh, Misty.... I'm expecting someone today. Please make sure she finds me." The waitress paused and glanced back at the man. "Of course," she replied with a tip of her head. Colin muttered his thanks before turning his focus to the folder he brought with him. It wasn't unusual for Colin to bring work with him here, neither was it odd for him to order the hot beverage over his usual drink of choice. However, today this wasn't any ordinary work. This.... This was special....
Opening the folder, a tender smile seemed to touch his bright eyes as a small, blonde girl stared up at him from photograph clipped to the inside cover. Flipping past the cover page that accompanied all file like this one, Colin read the name about whom the file was all about: Lacey Ackerman....
